From July 10 to 12, the 3rd round of the 2026 season GT World Challenge Asia was fiercely contested at the Fuji International Speedway in Japan. Team KRC once again fielded two BMW M4 GT3 Evo race cars, with both securing brilliant results: Ruan Cunfan and Max Hesse of the #89 won 3rd place in the Pro-Am class in the first round, and on Sunday, they narrowly defeated their opponent by a gap of only 0.004 seconds to stand on the podium again for 3rd place overall; meanwhile, Brian Lee and Maxime Oosten of the #10 demonstrated absolute strength, sweeping the Silver-Am class championships in both rounds of the main races.

In Saturday's first round of the main race, the two drivers of the #89 cooperated tacitly, successfully breaking into the Top 3 and claiming 3rd place in the Pro-Am class by virtue of stable lap time output and precise pit stop strategies. It is worth mentioning that driver Max Hesse strongly took Pole Position with the fastest single lap of 1:37.850 in the Q2 qualifying session, winning the pole position starting qualification for Sunday's main race.

Sunday's main race was started by Max Hesse. Facing the close pursuit of two Porsche 911 race cars, he always maintained his position within the Top 3 advantage; Ruan Cunfan, who took over later, was equally resilient in defense. On the 1.475-kilometer-long main straight, facing repeated strong attacks from the Nissan GT-R race car behind, he precisely and firmly held his line, giving the opponent no opportunity to exploit, and finally successfully held onto third place overall with a very faint advantage of 0.004 seconds.

The performance of the #10 was stunning. Partnering to compete in the Silver-Am class, Brian Lee and Maxime Oosten won two consecutive victories with excellent starting performance and steady long-distance rhythm, sweeping the class championships in both rounds of the main races over the weekend. This double-championship result also marks a further step toward the leading position on the class points leaderboard.

In addition to the fierce confrontations on the track, a Pit Walk activity was held in the paddock over the weekend. Long queues formed outside Team KRC's pit garage, with a large number of fans coming drawn by their reputation to ask for the autographs of the drivers; the team's popular mascot Makus was also deeply loved, frequently interacting and taking photos with the fans on site.

During this trip to Fuji, Team KRC once again shone brilliantly and returned with honors from Asia's top racing arena. Next, the team will fully prepare to sprint for the China GT Zhuhai round from July 24 to 26.
