At the recently concluded China GT round in Zhuhai, the newly formed duo of Ethan Ho & Ruan Cunfan delivered a spectacular performance in their GT racing debut. Battling through unpredictable weather conditions, they outpaced the competition to claim victory in the GTS class. To prepare for this race, we specially enlisted Macau F3 legend Andre Couto as driver coach to provide technical guidance.


he weather at Zhuhai Circuit posed the biggest challenge of the weekend. On Friday,showcased their adaptability by setting the fastest lap time in the GTS category during two free practice sessions, boosting the team’s confidence ahead of the official races. On Saturday, they secured P2 in category during the first race.

In Sunday’s main race, Ethan Ho and Ruan Cunfan engaged in a fierce battle with Moritz Berrenberg from Maxmore W&S Motorsport. In the second half of the race, Ethan took over from Ruan showed his precision and decisive overtakes, managed to pass the rival car and seize control of the race. He maintained the lead all the way to the checkered flag, securing a dominant GTS class victory.


As a fresh on GT racing scene, Ethan’s performance was a revelation. Transitioning smoothly from the rhythm of Formula 4 to the team dynamics and long-distance duels of GT racing, his synergy with the experienced Ruan Cunfan demonstrated impressive adaptability across race formats.

The next round of GT World Challenge Asia (GTWCA) will head to Fuji Speedway in Japan, July 11–13
Chinese F4 will take place at Tianfu International Circuit, September 12–14.
