Last weekend, we once again demonstrated its formidable strength at GTWCA Mandalika. Drivers Ruan Cunfan and Maxime Oosten teamed up to pilot the #89 BMW M4 GT3 EVO at the Mandalika Circuit.
The event proved to be full of challenges. During practice sessions, unpredictable weather and intermittent rain affected track conditions, forcing the team to continuously adjust strategy and car setup. The qualifying sessions were also impacted by the crowded field, making it difficult for drivers to set clean flying laps. As a result, both races began from back grid positions.
In Race 1, Oosten showcased exceptional driving skills, engaging in intense battles through the corners. With precise racing lines, he completed a breathtaking overtake that laid the foundation for the team's eventual class victory.
Race 2 brought even more drama. Near the end of the race, a trailing competitor attempted an overtake but collided with the car ahead, sending it off the track. Ruan remained calm and alert, skillfully avoiding the incident and defending his position to claim another class win.
Despite the tough conditions, Team KRC relied on the superb driving abilities of both drivers and the team’s meticulous technical preparation to push through the field. Their victories in both races secured the Silver-AM class win once again—marking the team’s fourth consecutive class victory and underscoring their consistency and competitive edge.
